Women's tennis splits weekend conference action

The Shepherd University women's tennis team split a pair of conference matches over the weekend. The Rams gained a 6-3 win over Fairmont State on Saturday, but dropped a 9-0 decision to West Liberty on Sunday.

Seniors Brittany Bolster (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) and Christina Hammond (Charles Town/Jefferson) and freshman Katelynn Mumaw (Charles Town/Washington) each had wins at both singles and doubles play for the Rams in the win over Fairmont State.
