SU tennis splits with Gettysburg

The Shepherd University tennis teams split action against Gettysburg College at Shepherd today. The Shepherd women gained a 5-4 win, while the Shepherd men dropped a 5-2 decision.

Brittany Bolster, Katelynn Mumaw, and Christina Hammond each posted singles wins for the women. Hammond and Bolster won at number one doubles and Mumaw and Alice D'Alauro gained a victory at number two doubles.

Steve Lesko gained a 6-4, 6-3 win at number five singles, while Kent Thomas and Al Starlings posted a win at number three doubles for the men.

The Shepherd women improve to 7-4, while the Shepherd men fall to 1-2.
