Dr. Caroline Hong, no stranger to the world stage, will be in concert on Friday, Oct. 12, at the Frank Center of Shepherd University. Dr. Hong has performed throughout the world and made her debut at Carnegie Hall as the winner of the Frinna Awerbuch International Piano Competition. Dr. Hong has programmed for the community, a rare opportunity to enjoy the entirety of a landmark piece of the keyboard repertoire, the Goldberg Variations, BWV 988, by J.S. Bach. The concert is being co-sponsored by the West Virginia Music Teachers Association.

“I am absolutely delighted to have Caroline Hong as a guest artist. She is a concert artist of the highest caliber, celebrated for her technical virtuosity, sensitivity, and brilliant execution..” Said Dr. Rob Tudor, chair of the SU Department of Music. “Caroline holds distinction as a winner of competitions at the national and international level.
