In its twelfth year, The Potomac River Artists' Guild is sharing its art with the public at the War Memorial Building in Shepherdstown. The display will include paintings using many subject matters and techniques encompassing wildlife, still life, landscape, impressionism, abstract and the Old Masters in many mediums including watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel and mixed medium. The hours are Friday, Nov. 9, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to a time to be determined in the evening. Everyone is invited to attend. The show is free and open to the public.
All art lovers are invited to meet the artists at a public reception on Nov. 10, at 3 p.m. n the War Memorial Building, located at the corner of German and King streets.
