Stain glass for beginners class

The Heritage Craft Center of the Eastern Panhandle is offering a three-week Stained Glass Class for Beginners. This twice a-week class, on Mondays and Thursdays, runs Feb. 21, 25, 28, March 4, 7, 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. The pre-registration fee is $144 (payable to HCCEP) plus $30 tool rental (payable to Carol Slovikosky). These fees do not include glass. This class will be held at the Triple Brick Museum, 313 East John Street, Martinsburg. Students will create a 12 x 12-inch panel, ready to hang and display at the end of class. Instruction will include glass types and selection, pattern selection and preparation, glass cutting techniques, application of copper foil and soldering. There will be homework. Students will need to bring an apron, small bench brush and a bucket; all basic supplies you will have in your home.
