Shepherdstown Elementary School is sponsoring two two-week summer camp programs. The camps will be open to rising first graders through rising sixth graders. The camp will emphasize cross-curricular learning and written expression with a special emphasis on math in the real world.
The Summer Camp is taught by teachers at the school. The programs run from 8:30 a.m.- 12 p.m. The first session is from June 17-28 and the second session runs from July 8-19.
Each two week session costs $110. The teachers have planned fun, educational activities that include art class everyday. They will also work with the Shepherdstown Library and include their programs, such as a program on Treasure Island and a program on the Middle Ages.
