Shepherdstown Lutheran Parish welcomes Village Brass

October 25, 2013
Shepherdstown Chronicle

St. James' of Uvilla and St. Peter's of Shepherdstown are planning a wonderful celebration of the Festival of the Reformation with special music. The brass quintet, Village Brass, will provide music at both churches.

The service at St. James will open with the brass music at 9 a.m., and the worship itself will begin a bit later (about 9:10 a.m.). At St. Peter's the special music will begin at 10:45 a.m., and worship will begin at 11 a.m..

Members of the Village Brass quintet are residents of Shepherdstown, some of whom are professors at Shepherd. One of the organizers, Keith Alexander, is professor of historic preservation at the University.

All are welcome to attend.
