Yoga Workshop at Harmony

By Staff | Nov 8, 2013

Participants are invited to dive deeper into their yoga practice with Rebekah Goldstein-Hawes on Saturday Nov. 16, from 3-5 p.m. at Harmony Healing Arts Center.

Preregistration is $28, or pay $35 at the door. Space limited to 15 people. To register, visit: www.RebekahZB.com

Learn to dive deeper in yoga practice as Rebekah Goldstein-Hawes guides one to develop a greater awareness of oneself, the body, movement of prana, breath, emotions and mind. This growing awareness of self is the science of yoga. Every person is different, but we can all ask ourselves, “How is my body restricted in this yoga pose? How does breath flow here? How can I relax more deeply while staying strong? How can I still my mind?”

Rebekah’s yoga style has developed from her training with Swamis in India, teachers in New Zealand, California, and West Virginia, from her work as a Zero-Balancing (ZB) therapist, and most importantly from her own personal practice. A teacher at Harmony for five years, Rebekah has been on an international teaching tour. For the first time in 2 years, she is back at the studio where she first began her teaching career!

Wear loose or stretchy comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat, if you have one. Suitable for those with some prior yoga experience.

Harmony Healing Arts Center, 211 E. New Street.
