The Department of Contemporary Art and Theater at Shepherd University presents the Student Honors Show 2014. This exhibition will showcase outstanding student work chosen among Shepherd students by a juror. This year's juror is Evan Boggess, the 2013-2014 Visiting Artist and Lecturer at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In his current work, Boggess loosely references the growth patterns of crystalline mineral deposits through semi-abstract, geometric paintings on shaped canvases.
Awards will be announced at the opening reception on March 24 from 5 7 p.m. in Phaze 2 Gallery located on the first floor of the new Center for Contemporary Art and Theater.
Exhibits are free and open to the public. For more information contact Kgergely@shepherd.edu
