On Tuesday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. Speak will present Dovie Thomason, storyteller of Lakota and Kiowa Apache heritage. Using the indigenous voice, she shares traditional and original stories around the world, including NASA, the Oral History Association, Kennedy Center, Smithsonian, Shakespeares Globe Theatre, and lending her voice to the BBC, NPR, PBS, RTE, and the National Park Service. She is acknowledged as a master traditional artist by the National Endowment for the Arts, Smithsonian Associates, and New England Foundation for the Arts.
