MoocherRanchers
#1

I want to tell you one more thing I know about the ......

We are lucky that we live in the era of the Moocher Ranchers that can provide us the wisdom to live our lives. Unfortunately, throughout history our ancestors relied on kings, oracles, priests and philosophers who only provided false truths. As recently the 20th Century, people looked to scientists as the source of facts. Today we have the benefit of Moocher Rancher who only work two days a year - the day they buy their cattle and the day they sell their cattle - and they live primarily on government subsidy. So they have the time to ponder eternal truths, and give the proper guidance to the lowly masses on how to live our lives. And the Moocher Ranchers know there is only one higher power -- the county sheriff.

I agree. Ted Cruz, TX, should be working on I-81 issues. Is it me? Please tell me if it is me. I don't like Ted Cruz, but what does he have to do with bad drivers on 81?

"U.S. public 'very worried' about Ebola"

Remember all the "diseases of the year" that showed up at W's doorstep? Another annual disease disaster that requires funding. It has to be frustrating for government agencies to have to minimize the crisis. You have to know how to sing the song.

Private sectors? Apparently the competition level is low in the Ebola treatment market. Looks like a world wide open field for any entrepreneurs who want to jump into that specialty. There could be a high turnover rate however.

"NIH unit treating nurse is 1 of 4 such U.S. facilities. It can treat 2 patients."

I brought up this subject continually over 10 years ago, during the monthly coffee, donut, and bagel extravaganza, all paid for with federal grant money. Result? We are fat and retired and looking forward to our next nap.

"WASHINGTON — Beneath the calming reassurance that President Obama has repeatedly offered during the Ebola crisis, there is a deepening frustration, even anger, with how the government has handled key elements of the response.

Those frustrations spilled over when Mr. Obama convened his top aides in the Cabinet room after canceling his schedule on Wednesday. Medical officials were providing information that later turned out to be wrong. Guidance to local health teams was not adequate. It was unclear which Ebola patients belonged in which threat categories."

Fox? Nope, NYT. So, the guidance from the Feds to the locals was wrong. Hey Kidd, have you ever had a conference call with the CDC?

Like, we don't have Ebola cases, yet. ISIL is not varsity, yet. No evidence of a smidgeon of corruption, yet.

"In America, why the poor pay $4,158 for a $1,500 ‘rent-to-own’ sofa"

This is the reason they are poor. They want the best even though they have the least. I don't have tattoos. I don't have a smart phone. I don't have a car with all manner of stupid modifications. I don't have a TV with its own room and the premium dish package. And I can afford all of these things. Dig?

Now, now , the CDC is deeply sorry for their mistakes. I'm deeply sorry too. Sorry their dumbasses have a job. Tag, eh? I'd say that is a good description. Tag! You're it!

"On social media, and on the CBS 11 News phone lines, the biggest question became -- who was the guy not wearing protective hazmat gear?" said CBS Dallas.

It was a guy just like me; shirt, tie, clipboard walking past first responders wrapping duct tape around any opening. You're welcome.

This is how you know they are worried and paranoid. They are concerned about Bolton's chances. HA! Did the email you received also mention John Anderson and Ralph Nader?

"Health care workers monitored after Ebola case"

This is how ignorant we are. A health care worker covered from head to toe can contract Ebola, but a person who feels halfway decent on an airplane can't spread it because they are asymptomatic. How stupid. We have all been sick, so draw a line between being sick and not sick.
