Professional SportsCare opens new clinic
SHEPHERDSTOWN – A new clinic has come to Shepherdstown to offer residents sports medicine and rehabilitation in a comfortable and professional setting.
The Maddex Professional Center has a new business, Professional SportsCare & Rehab, which has 13 locations throughout the Washington, D.C., metro area and New York. The new rehab center’s clinical director is Christopher Horowicz.
Professional SportsCare & Rehab provides comprehensive, personal, physical therapy services. The rehab center specializes in sports medicine, general orthopedics, total joint rehab, post operative care, arthritis management and several other conditions.
Christopher Horowicz is a graduate of Goucher University in Baltimore. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise and sports science. He finished his education with a doctoral degree in physical therapy. Horowicz was also a lacrosse player and a swimmer. In his senor year, his was the team captain of the lacrosse team, which had a 13-3 record.
“I am excited to be serving this community,”said Horowicz, who now lives in Shepherdstown with his wife and two children. “We have created an intimate setting which promotes the highest quality, one-on-one care for each and every patient.”
The hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Professional SportsCare & Rehab is now accepting new patients.
