River Road, downstream of Trough Road intersection

The Potomac River flooded River Road this week about a quarter of a mile downstream from Trough Road. Several days of rain caused the river to rise over its banks. One local resident transported neighbors through the floodwaters in his small motorboat. Photo by Michael Theis/Chronicle
