Shepherdstown Town Hall and the Police Department Business Office will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. Trash and recycling collection will be on schedule.

In conjunction with the Fourth of July celebration at Rumsey Park hosted by the Shepherdstown Rotary Club, a Fourth of July parade will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday on German Street. Beginning at 2 p.m., Church Street will be closed from Washington to German streets for the parade line-up. German Street will be closed from Church to Mill Street and Mill Street will be closed leading to Rumsey Park.
