Sunday, July 19

6:05 to 6:15 p.m. East German Street. Animal complaint. Complaint of dog locked in truck. The call was unfounded.

6:16 to 7:30 p.m. Downtown. Foot patrol. Walked a beat in the downtown area.

11:50 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Bavarian Inn. Suspicious Activity. Responded to a call that there was a suspicious person on the grounds of the Bavarian Inn.

Monday, July 20

12:20 to 2:20 a.m. Town Limits. Patrol. Patrolled town limits by vehicle.

2:21 to 2:30 a.m. Shepherdstown Middle School. Information. Found damage to the bottom of school trailer. A complaint was filed.

6:05 to 7:21 p.m. Town limits. Patrol. Patrolled area by car.

9 to 10:10 p.m. Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department. Foot Patrol. Walked a beat around the carnival at the fire department.

10:40 to 10:55 p.m. German Street. Traffic enforcement.

10:56 to 11:01 p.m. Duke Street. Traffic stop. Conducted a traffic stop. One citation was written.

11:35 to 11:50 p.m. East New Street. Agency assist. Assisted EMS with a unknown medical complaint.

Tuesday, July 21

12:92 to 12:35 a.m. Melvin Road. Agency assist. Assisted the Sheriff’s department with subjects fleeing in vehicle.

2:35 to 4:00 a.m. Town Limits. Patrol. Patrolled Area.

6:35 p.m. Maddex Square. Alarm. Responded to an alarm. It was a false alarm.

6:50 p.m. Martinsburg Pike. Disabled vehicle. Assisted driver with disabled vehicle.

7 p.m. North Mill Street. Animal complaint. Dog out of yard. Owner put dog back in yard and closed the gate. The area is secure.

7:15 p.m. Office. Prints. At the office to finger print subjects.

10:30 a.m. Duke and German Streets. Motor vehicle accident. Responded to a hit and run call at the intersection of German and Duke Streets.

9 a.m. East German Street. Investigation. Did a follow up investigation on the hit and run accident yesterday.

10 a.m. Rudder Road. Agency assist. Assisted state and county units with a possible burglary. The call appears to be unfounded.

10:30 a.m. Office. Arraignment. Waited for subject to arrive for a capias arraignment. The subject was a no show.

1 p.m. Town limits. Parking. Conducted traffic enforcement detail.

1:30 p.m. Office. Took a statement in reference to the hit and run accident which accrued on July 22.

2 p.m. Rays Street. Complaint. Advised subjects of their options.

3 p.m. Shepherd campus. Assisted motorist by unlocking car.

3:30 p.m. The Bakery. Agency assist. Discussed bike patrol class with Virginia officer.

4:30 p.m. Office. Administrative duties. Entered data into computer system.

8 a.m. Communications. Picked up teletypes.

9 a.m. Town limits. Parking. Assisted with collecting change from parking meters.

10:30 a.m. Office. Arrest. Arrested subject at a capias arraignment.

12:33 p.m. Route 45. Agency assist. Assisted county units with an vehicle accident.

5:10 p.m. West German Street. Hit and run. Took an hit and run report

7:39 p.m. North Duke Street. Traffic Stop. Conducted a traffic stop. No action was taken.

8:45 p.m. County. Agency assist. Assisted county units with an open door.

9:35 p.m. Rite Aid. Agency assist. Assisted county unit with a underage drinking complaint.

3:18 a.m. Sheetz. Fight. Responded to Sheetz in Kearneysville to a report of a fight. One of the subject has a gun. Headquarters dispatched all units to that location to assist state police.

Sunday, July 26

7 a.m. Office Prepare for shift change. Picked up cruiser.

2:30 p.m. Maddex Square. Alarm. Alarm was at Christian Caine Jewelers.

3 p.m. County. Special detail. Took cruiser to garage for repair.

4:30 p.m. Office. Worked on logs for end of shift and complete paperwork. Returned cruiser.
