Smith was a valued, diligent county administrator
I wish to express my sorrow and regret for the unjust loss of a valued county administrator.
Leslie Smith is a woman of ethical values integrity honesty and moral standards that far exceed several other people that will remain nameless. I remember when Ms. Smith became county administrator; she helped me with a tire pile of over 150,000 tires. The pile was adjacent to my community, posing a serious threat to the surrounding area. Leslie stood up to the challenge walking me through the bureaucratic process as far as the state government level.
Soon there was a tire shedding company from Wood County to help. Quickly tire shedders were on site. And this was in great part to Leslie’s assistance, and with out her I don’t know what the outcome would have been.
There where many things that I accomplished for the community thanks to the patient and diligent assistance of this fine lady. She treats every one with respect no matter their place in our society structure be it homemaker or a high government official.
Ms. Smith commands respect and admiration by just being who she is and her work ethics. I greatly admire and respect her.
