St. Agnes Knights of Columbus Council 13887 presented a check for $1,185.10 to Jefferson County Director of Pupil Services Ann Ebersole. The check will be used in the instruction of autistic students in the county school system.

The Shepherdstown chapter has given more than $8,000 to Jefferson County Schools and its autism program since the formation of the council. The monies are collected from its annual May Tootsie Roll drive, and are given to the special needs students.
