Earth Day fete set

The 2nd Annual Panhandle Earth Day Celebration will be held Saturday, April 24, at Morgan’s Grove Park, on the corner of Kearneysville Pike (Route 480) and Morgan Grove Road, just outside Shepherdstown from noon until 9 p.m.
There will be Music, Art, Crafts, Food, Kid’s Activities, Demonstrations, Environ-mental & Conservationgroups, Activists, Vendors, a Farmers Market and more! This is a family-friendly, community oriented event. It is free and open to the public (all ages), so bring the family and come on out!
Music this year will include Paul Pfau & Friends, Gypsy Dawg, Herb andHanson, Treehouse, The Shemacians, Todd Coyle Band, Luke Johnson Band, BobKeel, Andrew Luttrell, Buck Flowens, Matt Creamer, Drum Circle andmore. Environmental and conservation groups will include the AppalachianTrail Conservancy, Shepherdstown Roots & Shoots and more. Vendors will include Boomtown Hoops, Go Green Gals, Potomac River Goods, River &Trail Outfitters, Sewn Together and more.
This is a leave no trace event. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch, lawnchairs, blankets, recreational equipment, and comforts for an afternoon in the park. Please leave your dogs at home. This is a rain or shine event.
