The Corporation of Shepherdstown is accepting letters of interest to fill a vacancy on the Town Council.

Interested persons must be a resident of Shepherdstown and meet the eligibility requirements of a registered voter, which are as follows: be a U. S. citizen, be a minimum 18 years of age, and not be under conviction of a felony or other disqualification.

Letters of interest should be delivered to Town Hall, 104 N. King St., or mailed to P.O. Box 248, Shepherdstown.

Please call the Town Clerk at (304) 876-2398 for more information. The deadline to submit letters of interest is noon on Thursday, July 8.
