CHARLES TOWN – The Arts and Humanities Alliance of Jefferson County invites anyone interested in the quality of life of our community to its annual meeting and potluck from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Beallair Mansion, 33 Louisa Beall Lane, Charles Town.

You can join at the door. Bring something for the traditional potluck. Plates and service will be provided. Drinks will be donated by the Washington Street Gallery and Gift.

The meeting, held in a model house, will include two topics: The election of officers and a brief discussion about the West Virginia Certified Arts Community program.

Tours of historic Beallair Mansion will be led by Bill Deroche. Watch for the signs.

The potluck tradition is if your last name begins with A through K, bring salad; L through P, bring entree; and Q through Z, bring dessert.
