SU president gets pay raise to $205,000
CHARLESTON (AP) – The state Higher Education Policy Commission has approved raises for two university presidents, including Shepherd University President Suzanne Shipley.
The commission on Monday awarded Shipley a $12,600 annual salary boost.
She will now be paid $205,000 per year.
West Liberty University President Robin Capehart’s salary was increased from $152,440 to $177,500.
The commission also approved contract extensions for the following: Fairmont State University President Thomas Krepel and Bluefield State College President Albert Walker.
