By Staff | Sep 10, 2010

SHEPHERDSTOWN – Friends in Action of the Eastern Panhandle is holding its 4th annual Tastes and Sounds of the Town from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Shepherdstown Clarion Hotel.

More than 15 of the area’s best restaurants will participate, including Stone Soup, Tari’s Cafe, Dish, Shepherd University Dining Services, The Press Room, The Bavarian Inn, Tuscany Grill, The Yellow Brick Bank, Panorama at the Peak and many more.

Each restaurant will provide samples of their signature dish for everyone to taste, and local musicians will perform throughout the evening, including Rolling Coyotes, Todd Coyle and Pat Lowery Combo.

Additionally, silent and live auction items will feature the artwork of local artists, novelty items from local businesses, luxury items, weekend getaways and much more.

Tickets are $50 per person and are available at www.fiaep.com or at the door.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will help the nonprofit Friends in Action of the Eastern Panhandle assist low-income families with mentoring support.
