By Staff | Oct 15, 2010

Aspiring painters, sculptors and designers are all invited to attend Polymer Clay and More: A Visual Arts Open House at CraftWorks. Whether you are a beginner or looking to rekindle your creative passion, the teaching artists at CraftWorks can guide you to the next level and beyond. All are welcomed to the in town studio, 219 S. Duke St., Shephersdstown, Oct. 24, 1 to 4 p.m. The open house will feature teaching artists from the tri-state area, samples of their work and hands-on displays. CraftWorks founder, Linda Case, will be showcasing her polymer clay creations and demonstrating basic techniques while other artists will exhibit drawing, painting, stained glass, basketry and floral design. CraftWorks, established in 2009, is a nonprofit nature preserve where the arts, craft, sustainable living and farming connect people to the environment and their communities.
