Commission announces improvements for Jefferson County

The Jefferson County Commission has made a number of improvements to make county government more accessible. Changes include a new handicapped accessible entrance to the Commission offices, an updated web page, more comfortable seating in the Commission meeting room and updates to the web cam.

The county offices have been moved to the first floor.

Lyn Widmyer, County Commission President, said in a release. “The County Commission wants to do everything possible to increase public participation in local government.”
