C. Louise Gosnell, 75, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at the home of her daughter in Gerrardstown.

Born Aug. 7, 1935, in Shepherdstown, she was the daughter of the late Russell William Dailey and Gladys Marie Shade Dailey.

She was a retired owner and operator of The Mirror Boutique for more than 28 years.

Ms. Gosnell was a very active member of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a lay leader and organist in the church for many years.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, and is survived by her daughter, Tina Hess and husband, Jimmy, of Gerrardstown; three grandchildren, Renee Youtz Clark, and Joshua and Jeremy Hess; one great-granddaughter, Courtney Clark; and five very close friends, Phyllis Dove, Penny Moore, Clara Banks-Gant, Martha Anderson and Jill Black.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Gosnell; two sons, Bill and Daniel Youtz; and a sister, Florence Marie Dailey.

Celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Harvey Bane officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, Marvin United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 872, Martinsburg, W.Va. 25402. Arrangements are being handled by Brown Funeral Home.
