By Staff | Dec 9, 2010

Home Instead Senior Care’s “Be a Santa to a Senior” program has been extended through Dec. 15.

Home Instead has teamed up with non-profits and area retailers to set forth the program that will collect, wrap and deliver gifts to lonely and needy seniors throughout the Eastern Panhandle and areas south of the region.

Right now trees with ornaments are up in area businesses. On Dec. 15, there will be a community wrapping party. The public is invited to attend. Delivery of gifts to seniors will follow.

According to Sally Stalnaker of Home Instead, the need is great this year.
