Library to host programs for children

Registration for the Shepherdstown Public Library’s popular free programs for infants through age 12 will run from Jan. 10 through 15.

To register, call 304-876-2783, visit the library at 100 E. German Street or email the following information to splchild@martin.lib.wv.us.

Include: your name, your child’s name and age, the program your child would like to attend and your address and phone number.

Programs will begin the week of Jan. 17:

Mondays, 10:15 to 11 a.m. with Miss Kathleen – Lap Babies and Ones

Mondays, 11:15 a.m. to noon with Miss Kathleen – Time For Twos

Tuesdays, 11 to 11:45 a.m. or 1 to 1:45 p.m. (choose one session) with Pam – Threes, Fours, & Fives

Thursdays, 4 to 4:45 p.m. with Anne – After School Program (ages 6 through 12)

From Jan. 15 through 22 there will a children’s book display on Martin Luther King, Jr. and the civil rights movement. On Monday, Jan. 17, the library will be open regular hours.
