By Staff | Feb 18, 2011

There’s still space in the Shepherdstown Public Library’s popular free programs for infants through age 12 which include:

Mondays, 10:15 to 11 a.m. with Miss Kathleen: Lap Babies and Ones;

Mondays, 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Miss Kathleen: Time For Twos;

Tuesdays, 11 to 11:45 a.m. or 1 to 1:45 p.m. with Pam: Threes, Fours & Fives; and

Thursdays, 4 to 4:45 p.m. with Anne: After School Program (ages 6 to 12).

To register your child, please call 304-876-2783, visit the Library at 100 E. German St., or email the Children’s Department at spl child@martin.lib.wv.us.

Displays this month will include children’s books in celebration of Valentine’s Day and Black History Month, plus a lot of winter stories and new books about parenting.

The Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 21, Presidents’ Day.

February is “Library Lovers Month,” so we hope you will stop by the Adult Department to find out ways you can show your support for continued funding for your local libraries, before library representatives from the Eastern Panhandle make their annual trip to lobby the legislature in Charleston.
