DAR celebrates birthday
The Shepherdstown Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently celebrated the Chapter’s 95th birthday at a catered luncheon held in the hall at Christ Reformed Church. Forty-three members and their guests attended.
First Vice Regent Kathy Sholl gave the program, “The Founding of DAR.”
The Chapter is planning a chartered bus trip April 30, to Lancaster, Pa., which includes the Quilt Museum and historic Rock Ford Plantation.
Enjoy a fun-filled day with friends and family.
The price, at $75 per person, includes bus transportation, all admission fees, lunch and gratuities. This trip is limited to the first 50 paid reservations and is open to all.
