(Submitted photo) Shepherdstown Middle School 13-year-old Michael Tennant placed first in the state Knights of Columbus free throw contest. Michael shot successfully 28 out of 30 attempts to win his age group. The state finals were held in Weston, W.Va. on March 6. The Knights of Columbus annually hold free throw contests across West Virginia and the nation for ages 10 to 14.
