Center to offer free classes
Harmony Healing Arts Center will offer a week of free classes from April 3 through 9 in celebration of the studio’s 5th anniversary.
The class offerings span several varieties of yoga as well as other special topics like body rolling (a self- massage technique), healthy snacks for kids and martial arts. No registration is necessary for free-week classes, but participants are encouraged to arrive early to assure parking and space in class(es).
The schedule is as follows:
Sunday, April 3: 10-11 a.m. Intro to Yamuna Bodyrolling; 4-5 p.m. Kids Yoga ages 7-11.
Monday, April 4: 7:30-8:45 a.m. Yoga Awareness (intermediate); 9-10 a.m. Traditional Yoga (beginner); 5:30-6:45 p.m. Heated Yoga (intermediate/advanced).
Tuesday, April 5: 10:30-11:45 a.m. Slo-Mo-Yo (beginner); 5:30-6:45 p.m. Intro to Zero Balancing energywork; 7-8 p.m. Yin Yoga (all levels).
Wednesday, April 6: 9:45-10:45 a.m. Intro to Chi Chuan and Qigong, 6-7 p.m. Intro to Yamuna Body Rolling.
Thursday, April 7: 6-7:30 p.m. Gayatri mantra w/Yoga (all levels).
Friday, April 8: 8:30-10 a.m. Restorative Yoga (all levels who can get up/down from floor); 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. Extra Gentle Yoga (beginner); 7-8 p.m. Healthy Snacks for Kids (and Adults!) (for parents, grandparents, etc.).
Saturday, April 9: 8-9 a.m. Gentle Yoga (all levels); 9:15-10:45 a.m. Spring into Arm Balances (advanced).
