(Submitted photo) The Shepherdstown Easter Parade will take place on German Street April 23 at 11 a.m. Families, children and pets are encouraged to participate in the parade, and prizes will be given for the following categories: Best Family, Best Lady’s Hat, Best Man’s Hat, Best Boy’s Hat, Best Girl’s Hat, Best Toddler’s Hat, Most Innovative and Best Dog. Sign up for the parade will begin at 10:15 a.m. at the corner of Church and German Street.The parade organizers are pleased to announce the return of the Shepherdstown Road Runnerettes who will follow the Easter Bunny down German Street. The culmination of the event will be an Easter Egg Hunt by the Little House. Don’t miss this Shepherdstown Easter tradition that is fun for the whole family.
