Shepherd University head football coach Monte Cater recently announced the 2011 Ram football schedule. The 11-game slate includes six home contests.

The Rams open the season at home against rival Shippensburg on Sept. 3 for the Great Valley Classic/Ram Gridiron Club Day. Other home games include Seton Hill (Sept. 17 – Hall of Fame Weekend/ Military Appreciation Day), Charleston (Sept. 24), West Liberty (Oct. 15), West Virginia State (Oct. 22 – Homecoming) and Bowie State (Oct. 29 – Senior Day). All home games will have a noon kickoff.
