Joanna and Shawn Kane of Inwood announce the birth of their daughter, Emerson Noel, at 9:29 a.m. on April 8, 2011, at Winchester Medical Center.

She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Delmas and Ann Westfall of Albright. Maternal great-grandparents are Virginia Potts of Shepherdstown and the late James Potts and the late Paul and Betty Westfall.

Paternal grandparents are Edgar and Charlotte Kane of Bunker Hill. Paternal great-grandparents are the late Doll and Lena Kane.
