Market offers new program
Local entrepreneur Peter Corum is merging two of his favorite interests – supporting local charities and local food producers – in the “Food for Fundraising” program at Morgan’s Grove Market this weekend.
The first non-profit organization to participate in the program is Potomac Valley Audubon Society. The market is providing locally grown strawberries from Orr’s Farm to PVAS to sell onsite at the market tomorrow, June 11. All proceeds from the strawberry sales will go directly to PVAS to support its programs for children. For information, visit www.potomacaudubon.org.
Morgan’s Grove Market is accepting non-profit organizations into the “Food for Fundraising” program on an ongoing basis. For more information, please contact Peter Corum at 304-283-2467.
Also this Saturday, enjoy the music of Lisa Lafferty and Sam Jannotta while you shop the market. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, rain or shine, from now through September.
The market is located next to Morgan’s Grove Park just outside Shepherdstown. Find more information at www.morgansgrovemarket.com.
