Kits assist in medical emergencies
New research shows that many adult children are not prepared with the information they need to assist in the event of a medical emergency with their parents.
That’s why a local company serving the entire Eastern Panhandle including the counties of Morgan, Berkeley, Jefferson, Mineral and Hampshire has launched a new public education campaign with free resources to help families be better prepared to answer “the call.”
Developed by Home Instead Senior Care, the Senior Emergency Kit contains of a number of resources including special tracking sheets so families can record their parents’ medical conditions, medications, doctor contact information, among other things.
