The House Watch Program was established to allow the residents of Shepherdstown another level of protection while they are away from their homes, whether for a short period of time or an extended period of time.

Residents are asked to fill out one of our House Watch forms, which are located at the office. The information includes the owner’s name, address, contact person’s name and phone number and any special instructions (lights left on, vehicles on property).

The Shepherdstown police officers’ will check the house each shift on a daily basis. The residents are asked to contact the police department when they return home to be taken off of the list.
