Youth camp to commence in Charleston

CHARLESTON – The first West Virginia Youth Science Camp, a summer science honors program for talented rising 10th grade students from 38 West Virginia counties will kick off July 10, at Cedar Lakes near Ripley. The camp, modeled after the National Youth Science Camp will integrate a broad science curriculum with traditional summer camp recreational activities.

Delegates from Shepherdstown are Anya Wallace and Malika Briggs from Jefferson High School and Carl Thomas from Saint James School.

The WVYSC will run from July 10 to 16.
