CATF to give reading at opera house

The Contemporary American Theater Festival will offer a free reading tonight, July 12, at the Shepherdstown Opera House located at 131 W. German St.

This season’s actors will perform a stage reading of “The Whipping Man” by Matthew Lopez, directed by CATF Producing Director Ed Herendeen.

The event, free to attendees thanks to the sponsorship of the West Virginia Humanities Council, will begin at 7 p.m. No reservations are needed.
