CATF ‘Talk Theater’ discussions slated
CATF offering ‘Talk Theater’
The Contempary American Theater Festival will offer various opportunities to attend “Talk Theater” discussions throughout the month.
Next week’s opportunities are:
Saturday, June 16 at 4:30 p.m. – Humanities Lecture
“New Plays: Shaping Theater’s Future” A panel discussion featuring Polly Carl, director of artistic development, Steppenwolf Theater; Teresa Eyring, executive director, Theatre Communications Group; and Ralph Remington, director of theater and musical theater, National Endowment for the Arts. The lecture, sponsored by the West Virginia Humanities Council, is free and open to the public and will take place at Reynolds Hall, 109 N. King St.
Tuesday, June 19 at 7 p.m. – Stage Reading
Play – to be announced. The reading will take place at the Shepherdstown Opera House at 131 W. German St., Shepherdstown. The event, sponsored by the West Virginia Humanities Council, is free and open to the public.
