In the coming months the Shepherdstown Men’s Club will be making a number of key decisions that will impact the greater Shepherdstown community as well as SMC members. They will involve both the War Memorial Building in town and Morgan’s Grove Park and undoubtedly will have long term implications. The executive board takes its stewardship of these extremely valuable assets very seriously and is anxious that the SMC can continue to work towards realizing its full potential.

These responsibilities fall heavily on the shoulders of the club officers and members alike. Therefore it is important to point out that after full public discussion and deliberation on several important changes under consideration, decisions will be taken based upon the vote of club members in good standing. Everyone’s suggestions and views are always actively sought, but it is only fair that decision be made by club members.

There will be a series of all hands meetings convened for this purpose, starting in late summer, in order to ensure that we can begin 2012 with any new management tools required.
