CHARLESTON – The Public Service Commission of West Virginia has rescheduled a hearing in the General Investigation of Jefferson Utilities, Inc. for Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, 681 Flowing Springs Road, Ranson. The hearing was previously scheduled for Aug. 30.

In February, the Commission opened a General Investigation into the general business practices of JUI. The Commission is also looking into whether customers are better off with an affiliate furnishing all required services rather than the utility directly employing personnel.

JUI serves 2,196 customers in eight separate systems in Jefferson County.
