Legislative special session to reconvene
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin announced Friday that he will becalling the members of the legislature into special session, beginning at noon, Thursday, Aug. 18.
In anticipation of a veto of House Bill 106, the special session agenda will focus on legislation relating to and implementing the decennial redistricting of the House of Delegates of the Legislative Department.
The proclamation officially calling the Legislature into session is expected to be entered early next week.
