The Shepherdstown Opera House will host many bands in the upcoming weeks.

Tonight, Aug. 26, The Whiskey Rebellion will appear live at the opera house. The group will perform new and familiar songs.

Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online at www.operahouselive.com.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, The Prison Book Club will perform. Featuring members of The Fox Hunt and The Demon Beat, many peg this group as a Shepherdstown Super Group. Also on Sept. 3, American Aquarium, from Raleigh, N.C., will bring its distinct sound to the opera house’s stage. To buy tickets, visit www.operahouselive.com.

And, at the end of September, on Sept. 30, Cotton Jones will appear at the opera house. Tickets are $10.
