Ellsworth set to hold exhibit
During the month of September, local Shepherdstown artist Mason Ellsworth will exhibit his paintings at the Devonshire Arms Cafe and Pub.
While a tragic accident several years ago may have impaired Mason’s mobility, it hasn’t constrained his imagination and creativity. He has blossomed into an energetic and accomplished painter.
The Devonshire Arms, 107 S. Princess St. (formerly the Carriage House Cafe), is continuing its strong support for local artists by offering the walls of the dining area as an exhibit space for their works. A different artist is featured each month.
Owner Carolyn Robel-Litwack said, “We are proud to add Mason to our growing list of artist friends who we help in presenting their excellent work to the public and hopefully encouraging them to continue painting.
“Their works also enhance the ambiance of our dining area so we all benefit.”
An opening reception with champagne and hors d’oeuvres for Mason Ellsworth’s show will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2.
The public is cordially invited. For additional information, call 304-876 9277.
