Church to hold potluck

By Staff | Sep 9, 2011

Trinity Episcopal Church, at the corner of New and German Streets, will have a fall series of pot luck dinners with a presentation to follow. The four week series will be on Wednesdays, Sept. 14, 21, 28 and Oct. 5. Dinner will start at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Following the potluck dinner, there will be a presentation that will be based on Scripture. For example: how did we get Scripture, why is it sacred and how do we use it?

On Oct. 5, each person will be asked to bring in one or more of their favorite passages of scripture to share with the group. It is a way of commemorating the 400th anniversary of the publication of the King James Bible.

All are welcome at any of the Fall Series potluck dinners and presentations. Come and celebrate your faith with the community at Trinity Episcopal Church in Shepherdstown. Please call the church office at 304-876-6990 for any questions.
