The Jefferson High School Theatre Department invites fellow theatre lovers out Friday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. for an evening of student talent.

The evening will begin with the 14th Annual Student-Directed One-Act Play Festival. Three student directors tackled three diverse plays: “When Shakespeare’s Ladies Meet,” by Charles George; ” Post Its ( Notes on a Marriage),” by Paul Dooley and Winnie Holzman; and “In a Strange Land,” by Alan Haehnel.

Admission is $5.

In addition to the one-act plays, the Theatre 4 class will perform an original play, “The Complete History of Theatre,” and the acting class will perform student-directed scenes from the play “Check Please.”
