Shepherd volleyball downs IUP

INDIANA, Pa. Shepherd University rallied for a 3-1 win over Indiana University

of Pennsylvania in volleyball action at IUP on Tuesday night. The Rams gained a 25-21, 16-25, 25-19, 25-19 victory.

Sophomore outside hitter Kayla Walker (Palmyra, Va./Fluvanna County) recorded 16 kills and freshman right side Valerie Bour (Willoughby Hills, Ohio/Willoughby South) added 11 to pace the Rams.

Senior setter Lauren Jeschelnik (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) recorded a

double-double with 20 assists and 14 digs, while junior setter Sara Michael

(Winchester, Va./James Wood/HCC) had 25 assists.

Freshman defensive specialist Trish Leigh (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) posted a team-high 15 digs and junior Lauren Gardner (Clarkson, Mich./Clarkson) had 11.

Shepherd improves to 7-6, while Indiana (Pa.) falls to 7-9. The Rams return to

action on Friday when they travel to Bluefield State for a 7 p.m. match.
