ELKINS, W.Va. – Humberto Betran scored two goals to lead Davis & Elkins to a 2-0 win over Shepherd University in WVIAC men’s soccer action at Davis & Elkins on Wednesday afternoon.

Davis & Elkins had a 20-13 advantage in shots and a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.

Senior goalkeeper Edgar Lopez Zuniga (Rockville, MD/Richard Montgomery) had four saves for the Rams, while Moises Oseguena had eight saves for the Senators.

Shepherd falls to 3-5-1, 1-2-0, while Davis & Elkins improves to 4-4-0, 2-2-0. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to West Chester for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
