RESA 8 provided Jefferson County Schools with donated iMac computers in September.

“RESA 8 has a great relationship with Shepherd University, which allows all of our counties to benefit from the disposal of their older technology,” said Jill Woolcock, the RESA 8 IT manager, in a press release.

Jefferson County Schools have been using Macintosh computers for a long time, so they gained the most from the donation of 30 iMacs from the university.

Along with the iMacs, Shepherd donated over 50 desktop computers. These computers will be tested by the RESA 8 IT support staff and delivered to the county school systems in the Eastern Panhandle, which RESA 8 serves.
